Even with the contributions from parents, members of the community, and friends, we are able to barely meet the minimal requirements to fund the Tibetan Community School.

In order to accommodate more students and cover future expenses, we are actively seeking additional funding. Your generous help and support will be much appreciated by the Tibetan Community School, and future generations to come.

Every Little Drop

With contributions from parents, members of the community, and friends, we are currently able to meet the minimal funding for the project. However, in order to expand and be able to accommodate additional students and meet future expenses, we are actively seeking additional funding.

In 2003, H.H. Dalai Lama donated $5,000 from his personal account to the Tibetan Community School. These funds, as well as contributions from parents, community members, friends, etc. are what we depend on to educate our children. However, this currently affords only the minimal expenses. Your contributions will help us:

To cover RENT for the school - currently $1,000 per week, and expected to increase. This is our largest expense
To have full-time TEACHERS AND STAFF salaries (currently, we provide them with a small stipend for lunch and transportation)
Hold Extra-Curricular ACTIVITIES (after-school programs, etc.)
To purchase SCHOOL UNIFORMS and unique TIBETAN COSTUMES for performances
To supply neccesary TIBETAN TEXTBOOKS from India
Purchase SUPPLIES & EQUIPMENT needed for operating the school
