Art Contest 2008

The Tibetan Community School hosted an art contest, open to all students of the Tibetan Community School. The winners were awarded cash prizes and were on display at the Birthday Celebration for HH the Dalai Lama on July 5, 2008.

The theme of the contest was "What It Means To Be Tibetan". Artwork submitted ranged on diverse aspects of Tibetan culture such as religion, history, etc.

The judges were particulary impressed with one artist, Ngawang Tsetan, who was awarded the "Best Artist" award.
