The Tibetan Community of New York & New Jersey is delighted to announce the signing of a contract to purchase a property for our Tibetan-American Cultural Hall (TACH, formerly known as the "Tibetan Community Center" on April 30th, 2012. The TACH will provide a self-sustaining facility where community events, current and new social services and educational programs for the Tibetan community can be brought under one roof.
We welcome everyone to visit the new center in our official kick-off and to view the property on May 12, 2012 where we will officially announce our notification to the community the securing of the property, signing of the contract and actively begin the collection of pledges. We also have several fundraising events in the near future in order to meet our fundraising goals so our deadline for the procurement of funds can be met.
Please join us for this memorable occasion or at one of our upcoming fundraising events. We recognize and appreciate how important it has been to have had everyone's support and we look forward to your continued support in reaching our goal.
