Founded in 1979 under the auspices of the Office of Tibet, Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey (TCNYNJ) is the oldest and largest organization serving Tibetans in North America established as a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.
Our Board of Directors is composed of men and women from the Tibetan community who are devoted to furthering the Tibetan cause. Board members are elected to a two-year term by the community, and with the current board’s term expiring in July 2008.
